Janmesh earned his Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Utah, where he was affiliated with the Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute. His thesis, “Towards a Fully Automated Framework for Statistical Shape Modeling,” focused on addressing the supervision bottleneck in the training and inference stages of deep learning-based shape modeling methods.

In December 2025, he began his PhD at the University of Amsterdam, joining the QurAI Group under the supervision of Clarisa Sánchez. As part of the AI4AI Consortium, he collaborates with the company LIMIS on research focused on AI-based enhancement and analysis of laser speckle contrast imaging for intraoperative tissue perfusion assessment.
