Lennart Meyling is a PhD student in the QurAI group at Amsterdam UMC and the University of Amsterdam, supervised by Prof. Ivana Isgum, Dr. Wessel Ganzevoort and Dr. Vikram Venkatraghavan. His research focuses on medical deep learning for ultrasound, with a current emphasis on fetal ultrasound to recognize growth issues. Earlier work before working at QurAI includes real time guidance for localizing an anatomical landmark at the elbow in ultrasound to support procedural accuracy. His interests include landmark detection, learning from limited or weak labels and evaluation for real world use. He received his BSc and MSc in Medical Informatics from the University of Lübeck.
