Philip Croon obtained his MD degree cum laude at the VU Amsterdam. During the bachelor phase of the medicine track, Philip followed the minor on personalized medicine where his interest in AI was born. In July 2021, Philip started as a PhD student at the Department of Cardiology. His main project is part of the UvA Research Priority Agenda AI for Health Decision-Making, which is a collaboration between Faculties of Medicine, Science, Humanities and Law, where Philip focuses on decision support using AI for patients with heart failure.
