Diego van der Mast obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Amsterdam. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in AI at the qurAI group and the cardiology department at Amsterdam UMC. His work focuses on cardiovascular risk assessment using MRI and ECG data under the supervision of Fleur Tjong, Erik Bekkers and Laura Alvarez. His research is part of the DEEP-RISK group, which aims to reduce needless ICD implantation in heart patients.
