George Yiasemis is a PhD candidate at the Netherlands Cancer Institute and the University of Amsterdam. He received his BSc degree in Mathematics from the University of Cyprus in 2019 and his MSc degree in Artificial Intelligence from Imperial College London in 2020.  The main goal of his research is applying Deep Learning and Computer Vision techniques for building algorithms that would enable the active MRI acquisition and real-time tracking of tumors and organs-at-risk during MRI-guided radiotherapy.
