Matteo obtained his bachelor’s degree in Advanced Technology (cum laude) in 2021 from the University of Twente, NL. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Amsterdam, with a focus on Computer Vision and its biomedical applications. In November 2022, Matteo joined the Cardiovascular Lab of qurAI to work on his master’s thesis as part of the Amsterdam ELLIS honors program, under the co-supervision of Ivana Isgum and Gino Jansen (University of Amsterdam) and Alison Noble (University of Oxford). His research involves the use of deep learning image registration on echocardiograms to improve downstream segmentation algorithms.
