Navchetan obtained his master’s degree in computational science at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru in India. Thereafter, he did his PhD at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru in India. His thesis focused on vector extrapolation and guided filtering methods for improving photoacoustic and microscopy imaging. After his PhD, he was a research fellow in Harvard medical school and Massachusetts general Hospital, Boston in USA. He also worked as a postdoctoral fellow in Eindhoven University of technology, Eindhoven and University of Twente, Enschede in Netherlands. Currently, he is working as an assistant professor at the University of Amsterdam.
