About

Sanyog Vyawahare obtained his BSc in Information Technology from Pune University, India. Following this, he worked as a software engineer at Abzooba India Infotech for over a year. Subsequently, he pursued his master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence at Radboud University in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. For his master’s thesis, titled “Automatic segmentation of subsolid pulmonary nodules using deep learning,” Sanyog collaborated with the AI for Health lab, supervised by Dr. ir. Colin Jacobs and Dr. Kiran Vaidhya Venkadesh. During his master’s internship, he contributed to the project “Automated landmark detection on lateral headplates for orthodontic diagnosis” under the guidance of Dr. Silvan Quax and Dr. Frits Rangel at the same lab.
      Currently, Sanyog is engaged in his Ph.D. at the Amsterdam University Medical Center, Netherlands, in the Cardiovascular Lab of the qurAI group and the Department of Biomedical Engineering & Physics. Under the supervision of Prof. dr. Ivana Isgum and Dr. Dimitrios Karkalousos, his research part of the ARTILLERY project focuses on analyzing the early risk of cardiovascular disease in breast cancer survivors.
